General Information
ASM Webinars are an archive of past ASM Teleconferences. Webinars allow individuals to listen to the previously recorded Teleconferences at any time. The listener may view the presentation and listen to the audio feed of the session. Handouts or other supplemental information are not provided. In order to receive credit for the webinar, participants must successfully past a post-test. The test is three questions and requires at least two questions are answered correctly to pass. If the test is not passed the first time, the participant can retake the test.
Registration Information
Registration for Webinars must be completed online through ASM's eStore. Webinars will be available online approximately two weeks after the original live Teleconference and will be available for purchase for one year. Once registered for a webinar, the participant will have unlimited access until the webinar expires. Expiration is one year from the original presentation date. The registration process will provide you with an individual login and password as well as the appropriate URL for the Program. There is a fee ($30) for each program and you must use a credit card to pay for access.
Hardware/Software Requirements
Multimedia files, such as the ones used in this site can put a considerable demand on your computer. For PC users, we recommend using a computer that is running Windows XP, or a more recent version of Microsoft Windows. For Apple Macintosh users, we recommend using a computer that is running OS X or later. Although the presentations and web site can be viewed on any popular browser, we suggest Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 8 on the PC and the latest version of Firefox on the Macintosh. Because of the media-rich content we provide, we recommend viewing the programs at a minimum screen resolution of 800 X 600 pixels.

The American Society for Microbiology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
The American Society for Microbiology designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
