Summary of Session: Review of laboratory methods for the diagnosis of hepatitis caused by HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, HEV and HGV.
Objectives: Upon completion of this Teleconference, participants should be able to: - Name the test(s) of choice for the laboratory diagnosis of hepatitis caused by HAV, HBV, and HCV;

List the available molecular tests for HBV and HCV infections and describe how they are used; and

List the test(s) of choice for the laboratory diagnosis of hepatitis caused by HDV and HEV.
