Summary of Session: The latest CLSI guidelines for 2007 contain changes, deletions, and additions that may require laboratories to modify AST procedures and reporting. The session will explain the changes and suggest implementation strategies.

Objectives: Upon completion of this AudioConference, participants should be able to:

• Identify the 2007 CLSI changes that will impact testing and reporting in your laboratory;
• Recognize when it is appropriate to use one drug to predict the results of another drug; and
• Propose a strategy for implementation of CLSI changes as needed for your laboratory.
